You know we see headlines like these all the time on the cover of Cosmo, Marie Claire and other women magazines. And I'm always interested to see if they ever put new tips on the list or just rephrase the tips from the previous month. So, curious me decided to click on the post and read what this author had to say. Here was her list of suggestions:
1. Talk Dirty-Ok, most couples do that anyway. I think we all have surprised ourselves and our mates with some sassy bedroom talk.
3. Have Sex With Someone New-Hmmm...yea, this one I will certainly not be trying. Furthermore, I don't condone sexual wrecklessness or adultary. I'm a Christian and the Bible is pretty clear about this. And even if you're not a Christian, what about having respect for your body and your mate. I totally didn't get how sleeping with someone new would enhance a couple's sex life?
I mean honestly, I wouldn't be feeling too sexy if my husband told me that he needed to screw some other woman for him to be attracted me or stay interested. Sure, we've seen this stuff on Sex & the City and read about it in fiction books, but that's just it. Scenerios like these are meant to be just for entertainment, not something you ought to go out and try in your real life. But to each his/her own. If sleeping with other people is what takes to keep your relationship afloat go ahead. You'll have to live with the consequences-emotional, physical and mental-of your actions.
4. Explore BDSM Communities-Hmmm...idk about getting into that hardcore bondage and pain stuff.

ReplyDeleteMy hmmm for the week would be a story I saw on the news regarding some of the troops over in Iraq being granted leave for the holidays but can't come home because they don't have the money. My thought is these people are over there sacrificing their lives for our freedom and the military can't fly them home for free to spend time with their families for the holidays.
Point 3 is a very loud HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.... what to play with another person is wrong so how can it spice up your sex life? When it comes to that end it means the marriage is over.
ReplyDeleteMy hmmm of the week so far as been watching the Millionaire Matchmaker being a nasty thing with the women she is trying to hook up with some millionaires. She is so mean and shallow.
@Mommy Glow-Yea, I'm wondering what her motives behind that visit. I personally think she went for her show to increase ratings because rumor has TLC is thinking about cancelling it after this season. I have yet to watch it because I can't get down with that woman.
ReplyDelete@Yakini-LOL. I told the hubs he better it enjoy it while it lasts because he already know those last three months I don't want to be bothered. And yes, Kim never ceases to amaze me on RHOA. Part of me wants to think her pregnancy is stunt to get her own reality show spinoff like Bethany. And Phaedra was on the Tiny & Toya show on BET a few times. She does seem a little different on the RHOA though.
@Mimi-That is horrible. Barack is certainly going to have to do something about that. Surely, he can get some funds from somewhere to pay for those troops to come home. That's like dangling candy in front a child.
@MsBabyPlan-I actually love Patti. She's a bad ass for sure and keeps it real. I do agree that she could tone it down a little during the screening process, but when she talks to those millionaires she is right on the money. Most of them come to her saying they're looking for love, but really they're not ready and she doesn't want her time wasted or those women hurt.
