Fashion Find: Rocawear Luvs the Kids!
With it still being Black History Month, I thought it would be a good idea to mention Jay-Z's Rocawear line has a line of ALL African American dolls with Mattel. The doll collection is called So In Style and each doll is wearing a signature Rocawear outfit. Check them out below and grab a couple for the kids.

@Mama Hen-Thanks for the reminder!!
ReplyDeleteThose dolls are HOTT! I wish I had Grace's and Kara's outfits!
ReplyDelete@Alicia-I know right! They have the cutest outfits. So, thinking about getting one of these for Moo.
ReplyDeleteGood looking dolls! I like Grace a lot. Unfortunately I don't think my four year old boy would like them that much, so I don't have a reason to get them!
ReplyDeleteFound you through the Midweek Mingle and am your newest follower. Hope to see you at mu blog, Dropped Stitches.
@Erin-Thanks for visiting!
ReplyDeleteThose are so cute, I will have to let my cousin know her daughter is mixed and they are looking for African American Barbies to get for her
ReplyDelete@Mommy to a lil ladybug-Well, I'm sure that her daughter will love these.
ReplyDelete@Jill-LOL. Nope. He is the token male of the group & boyishly handsome!
ReplyDeleteThank you for bringing this to my attention. It is too soon for Lil Mama to play with dolls but I think I will pick up Kara. These are too cute!
ReplyDelete@Mimi-Moo is going thru her be rough on the dolls stage. So, I will have to keep hers in the closet until Christmas I think.
ReplyDeleteWow, I had no idea that this line was out. While I wouldnt purchase any for my daughter, i think its a step in the right direction towards diversifying dolls in the stores. It boils my blood when I go into a store and find 500 white dolls and no african american or spanish dolls.
ReplyDelete@Mommy Glow-I agree that it is a step in the right direction. I think that more urban brands should partner with Mattel to make dolls of more different ethnic races. I would love to be able to find a Native American doll for Moo, but haven't any luck with my search.
