Bred to be Epic

I've always know that my husband was bred to be epic.  It can be seen from his epic struggle to survive his bad childhood to his journey of trying to live out of his dreams.  However, what you can't see it in is his wardrobe.  I know it's a pity, especially since I'm such a fashionista myself.  His entire wardrobe isn't all fashion don't.  It's mostly just his jeans.

Seriously, he hasn't purchased a new pair of jeans in ages.  And I'll admit that when it comes to men's jeans I am not the most confident shopping.  I know how hard my struggle was to find jeans that fit me. So, I can only imagine how hard it would be to find the perfect pair for him.  Thankfully, Express jeans are great for suiting all body types.

Therefore, I have decided to take a risk and get him a pair of the Kingston in their Classic Fit style.  He has football player type body and I think the Kingston will be perfect for his shape.   I want to get him a few dark washes for those evening when we are able to go out for a bite to eat minus the kids and a lighter wash to wear everywhere else.

Born to Rock

Growing up, I never thought of myself as a curvy girl.  I was skinny and tall.  While I had no trouble finding shirts that fit or flattered my figure.  My problem was in the pants department.  I had this itty bitty tiny waist, a decent booty and then thick thighs.  What a combination huh?

It was hard finding pants that fit my waist and my thighs.  Usually, I ended up wearing pants that were a little big in the leg part.  That in turn lead to me having flat booty syndrome.  Because my pants were often looser and not fitted in butt area, I did have to hear my family tease me about being the one that the booty fairy skipped over.

It wasn't until I moved off to college that I discovered a great pair of women's jeans.  Where did i find these jeans you ask?  Why at Express of course.  Express jeans fit me like a glove.  My favorite fit was the wide leg.  I could wear them with sneakers, flats, heels, boots or sandals.  And in a really dark wash, wide legs can totally take on this glam look.

I paired my wide legs with a nice cami and blazer and I was ready for a night on the town, dinner or the office.  And now I am totally a huge fan of the jean leggings trend.  I mean any of the jean leggings you will find in Express work perfectly with a tunic or babydoll top.  I even like to pair these leggings with longer more fitted tops and heels for a more sophisticated look.
